The Atkinson/Holt County Communities for Kids (C4K) Core Team distributed a community-wide in-mail survey on Jan. 14 for all of Atkinson and its outlying areas. The organization is asking for any adult community members that have not yet completed the survey to visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AtkinsonHoltCountyChildcareSurvey.
“Participation in the survey by the community of Atkinson thus far has been wonderful! It shows the level of care we want for our young community members and the opportunity for growth in our town,” said Melissa Polinoski, Atkinson/Holt County Early Childhood Community Coordinator.
The information gathered from the survey will help community children, providers, parents, and businesses. Opportunities for childcare expansion, educational curriculum, childcare provider financial support, and business growth will be evaluated based on the data collected.
This survey is for all adult community members to complete whether they have early childhood aged children or not. Paper surveys also are available at the City of Atkinson Economic Development Office if access to a computer is not available.
